We're on our way.  The contractor has started to prepare the site.Construction has startedChurch Rebuild Update

The rebuild committee received a status update from the architect and the contractor on Wednesday, May 13.  The good news is that the project remains on budget.  The team continues to look for additional cost savings while making sure we hold on to the values and objectives established when the project was kicked off. The scheduled start of construction has slipped.  Current events and a painfully slow permitting process has pushed the time frame when we should start to see real activity to mid-July.  The contractor’s projected one-year construction schedule pushes our opening past Easter of next year but they have committed to looking at options that could potentially trim the schedule a bit.

The two updated renderings show the plaza and front entry as seen from the parking lot and the view of the altar as you enter the church from the narthex.  There is still a lot of discussion to have around the interior details including lighting, sound system, statues and icons so try not to take the imagery too literally.

A town hall meeting will be held when we are confident that we can do so safely.

Thank you to all who have contributed to the building fund during these past 2 months.  Hoping our church family remains healthy and safe during this time of the Covid-19 virus.

As always, Fr. Reggie greatly appreciates your prayers and support and asks everyone to keep the faith.

Peace & Blessings
