Our Story

In 1969 St. Joseph Parish was established and began with Masses held in the Paradise Valley High School. Ground was broken in January 1972 for the 11-acre site including church building, parish hall, meeting rooms, and a library, and by October 1972 the first Masses were held in the church building where it has remained a fixture in the community and the Diocese of Phoenix.

In the early morning of May 1, 2019 our parish was devastated as fire destroyed our church building. We have made great progress in the building of our new church. Construction is underway and by October 2021 we hope to open wide the doors to our new church building, and welcome all of parish family home, during this year of St. Joseph, proclaimed by the Holy Father.
